Lantus Solostar 100IU/ml Injection 3 ml is a type of insulin called glargine insulin. It's a long-acting insulin, similar to the insulin our bodies naturally produce. This insulin is used to manage diabetes in adults, teenagers, and children over 2 years old. Diabetes is a condition where the body doesn't produce enough insulin to control blood sugar levels.

This insulin works slowly and steadily to lower blood sugar levels. It starts working about 2 hours after injection and lasts up to 24 hours, with no sudden spikes in activity.

How to Use:

Lantus Solostar 100IU/ml Injection 3 ml is injected under the skin, not into a vein. It's important to inject it at the same time every day.

Steps for Self-Injecting Insulin:

1. Wash your hands before injecting insulin.

2. Roll the insulin bottle and clean the top with a wipe.

3. Pull the syringe plunger to the prescribed number of units.

4. Insert the needle into the bottle and push the plunger down.

5. Pull the plunger again to the prescribed units.

6. Choose an injection site, clean it with an alcohol swab, and pinch up the skin.

7. Insert the needle into the skin and push the plunger.

8. Keep the needle under the skin for at least 6 seconds to ensure the full dose is injected.

9. After injecting, remove the needle and dispose of the syringe safely.
